A recent pole carried out on by Karbon Creative on the business networking site LinkedIN asked the question: 'Marketing Ultimatum - You've got a small budget - What do you do..?'
Of the four possible answers available, an overwhelming majority (54%) choose email marketing as their weapon of choice, followed by print advertising (27%) and a new website (18%).
Rather surprisingly, direct mail received not a single vote - compounding the viewpoint that whilst an effective medium, DM is better suited to an integrated campaign than a stand-alone tool.
